'Dungeon Hunter' Drops to $4.99, Gets Lite Version

899071_2For those who never picked up Gameloft's Dungeon Hunter game, it has now dropped in price from $6.99 to $4.99.

The game is a hack and slash RPG that we reviewed back in September. The only real criticism of the game was that it was somewhat easy, but our conclusion was very positive:

Overall though, Dungeon Hunter is a blast. Until Blizzard releases an iPhone port of Diablo or Microsoft does the same with Dungeon Siege, Dungeon Hunter is a great alternative. If you like slaying monsters, earning experience, doing quests, and picking up an obscene amount of loot in the process, Dungeon Hunter is the iPhone game for you.

Gameloft has also released a Lite/Free version to try.

Someone is worried about the release of Ravensword, I think. :) I have no regrets about buying Dungeon Hunter at it's full $6.99 price. It's a great game, and was worth every penny.

Awesome, just bought this two days ago at $6.99, that's the app store for you.

At least this one was actually worth it, unlike some other Gameloft titles…

The music is very, very good! I wonder who made it. I'm working on something now but when I finish it I might produce something like it, I've come across really nice nature / field recording samples at freesound.org, check it out.

From a gamers perspective having played Ocarina of time I wondered if it would be cool when there would be far less enemies but they would be far more difficult, the perspective would change to 3rd person like in OoT with some kind of locking, would love it! Also the animations, I'd rather buy it for 20 bucks with good animations and battles then these repetitive battles I see.
Lovely in all other regards though!

Is certainly a good game. I did get a bit tired of the loading times though. Wonder if that's much better on the 3GS and new Touch's?

Ohh, Dungeon Siege would be awesome!
