    Oh my!

    That's some pretty amazing graphics.

  • Phil says:

I hope that the game has some sort of house building mechanic. That is 3/4s of the fun of the Sims for me.

    • Kai says:

      same here

      • Kevin says:

well, idk about the house building, because in the demo during the iPhone SDK 3.0 event, there was only buy and live mode. but i agree that there should be some sort of build mode too; it'd make it much more fun.

  • Hjj says:

I wonder if there will be a $$$ cheat. To be honest, for me, the fun came *after* you built your insanely extravagant mansion with no toilets.

  • dean says:

Doesn't look so good. Graphics look nice but now that I read the info of this game it doesn't look so great

  • bubby says:

Instead of making an all-new Sims game for the iPhone, why not optimize the original game and port it? Like have the Sims 1, but updated for iPhone use. I'd totally be into that. By making the new game and attempting to update the graphics, they risk making it complete shit. "Over 10 hours" of gameplay being the major disappointment here. What, after 10 hours am I going to get sick of it? I'm hoping not…

  • sam says:

yeah, i thought sims was open ended gameplay. that's the whole idea of a simulation game of life- it never ends, not limited to ten hours. or is this talking about like 'missions' as such?

and from the screenshots, what does he spend 10 grand on?! :D

  • mek says:

i think i will pass until it is released, I still can't play sim city cause of the menu depth and such a tiny screen…

  • it's friday man says:

They're not going to give it the same scale and depth of gameplay of the PC version, because they want you to buy both…

  • Fattychance says:

I would much rather have the original Sims than a scaled down POS version.

I'm willing to pay for a full version sell me the real thing.

    Otherwise, forget it.

You can bet that the 40mil+ iPod and iPhone users have the money to afford the real thing.

    • Kevin says:

yeah. but my comp's a slow, ancient little piece of crud, so i couldn't run the pc version. maybe the iPhone version will be like sims urbz for DS, but hopefully more open-ended.

  • Fattychance says:

Oh…and for the record…I won't buy anything aimed at any other platform right now.

  • Bloc Party says:

Did anyone really expect any less from EA?

I'm shocked that Tiger Woods PGA has so much content.

EA are a plague on the gaming industry.

  • David says:

Sounded like a nifty idea at first, but the fact that it will probably be a $9.99 game with "extras" you can buy for 99¢ each… yay, I want an app that will nickel and dime me for everything I'm worth.

  • James says:

that's pretty sweet… did anyone notice that the background is from Back to the Future?

  • Candy says:

I'm looking forward to this! I can't judge a game before I play it!

It says 10 hrs of gameplay but Sims games are open ended so not sure why it says that.

  • Kai says:

I hope so much that their will be families in this one otherwise it won't be the sims. i hate stupid mini games.

  • Haley says:

I think it will be realesed June 2.

  • Rio says:

good news, it has been released on itunes
    but, the badnews are…
    u can't fast forward
only can play 1 sim at a time (with 3 slot sims)
only have a few items and furniture until they release the OS 3 version (which allows u to buy exotic furiture for 99¢ not include itunes tax)
and sometimes the game crash and u haven't saved yet… and have to play all over again… (yes, it happen and i already hard/soft reset my iphone but it still crash, not all the time though)
