'Tap Tap Revenge' Brings Rhythm Gaming to iPhone

Tapulous' Tap Tap Revenge [App Store] is another no-brainer download from the iTunes App Store.
This free game brings a fun and addictive rhythm game to the iPhone and iPod Touch. In the style of Dance Dance Revolution and Guitar Hero, the objective is to tap on the beats as they come down the screen.
The game was actually based on Tap Tap Revolution, a game that had been available for Jailbroken iPhones. The new developers have since added accelerometer support with left, right, and forward movements as well as two-player support.
The initial version only comes with 4 songs, but offers the ability to download more tracks. No extra songs are presently available but Tapulous is promising new tracks will come soon in addition to a stability update.

Tap Tap Revenge has been much improved upon since the early, jailbroken version. As of yesterday there were not additional songs to download, limited the number of tracks to easy, medium, hard = just 3.
Too bad you can't play with music in your own library….
TapTap crashed my iPhone when I got a text message, and since I get a lot of texts, I deleted it ASAP. I might check it out in the future if the bugs are worked out.
I can't seem to transfer TapTap to iTune library so I can remove it from the phone. I get the question 'do you want to transfer', I say "yes", and I see it saying "copying taptap to itunes" – but it never ends up on the list. Any advice? Thank you for being the best review site of iPhone games!
It was a lot of fun. Now I am dancing and playing it, and it is a blast.

I really dig rhythm games. And this one is great. 2 player mode is fun, and totally killed time while waiting for our food.
I was actually gonna buy a Nintendo DS only for "Elite Beat Agents" after trying it in the store. A game like "Beat Mania" would be great to play on the iPhone. Cheers to Tapulous for a great game, and I'd love to see more games like this for the iPhone.
What is next for the rhythmic gamer & iPhone? "Dance Dance Revolution" with someone playing it with their toes? Putting the iPhone into a moded Guitar Hero plastic holder (ala Wii) :p
I love this game! Especially love tapping away to Becca's songs "Liquid Smog" and "Sad But True". Who is she? Does anyone know how I can get her album?
Will stick to the jailbroken version- I like playing with my own songs.
is anyone else having this problem, when i get to a part in the song where there are a lot of fast-paced notes that are close together, and you touch them, the game randomly breaks your streak even though you definitely pressed all of them? this just started to do that yesterday. it's giving me a low score and its really pissing me off.
Can anyone help me?
