When Apple previously revealed two new upcoming Apple Arcade games, we learned that Capcom’s Monster Hunter Stories and N3TWORK’s Tetris Beat were hitting the service. Tetris Beat is a brand new game from N3TWORK blending in rhythm game mechanics with Tetris gameplay. Tetris Beat includes three game modes and original music written just for the game. So far, I like the game mode differences but the controls are a bit buggy. The on-screen options don’t seem to save once I adjust positions and the touch controls don’t feel great right now. Hopefully this gets addressed in an update soon because I’m up for another music-focussed Tetris game alongside Tetris Effect on consoles. Check out Tetris Beat on Apple Arcade here. The elegant tint got a big update today with version 3.8. This added 20 new levels to Book VI, new pages to the Zen Book, and a language selection feature. This update also has native M1 support and sees the game hit 300 levels. Check out tint on Apple Arcade here. This week was relatively quiet after last week’s releases and updates. If you missed out on last week’s Apple Arcade roundup, read this. Head over to our new forum threads for tint here and Tetris Beat here. Here’s our dedicated Apple Arcade forum for discussion around every game in the service. What do you think of the new additions to the service in recent months?
