Riot Games just celebrated 10 years of League of Legends with multiple announcements for all platforms. While a mobile version of League of Legends was reported to be in development, we finally learned how it will be handled on iOS and Android. Two other announcements from the event involved mobile while the others either don’t have a platform or are not games but other media. League of Legends: Wild Rift arrives in 2020 for iOS, Android, and consoles. This is League of Legends rebuilt for mobile and consoles including a brand new map. It will feature about 40 champions from the PC version with more to be added over time. Watch the trailer below:
Teamfight Tactics launched within League of Legends as a new permanent game mode. It brings auto chess like gameplay to League champions and it will arrive on iOS and Android in the near future. I can’t wait to check this out when it hits iOS. Watch the trailer for it below:
The final mobile related announcement is a card game called Legends of Runeterra. This one is the most interesting of the lot for me because I used to play a ton of Hearthstone and haven’t really found a replacement yet. Hopefully it arrives soon. Watch the trailer for it below:
