While a huge part of me is sad that the first FF Tactical RPG since Tactics A2 for DS in 2007 is for mobile devices, the Brave Exvius team makes gorgeous character designs/sprites, freakishly good cinematics, and the music is always damn fine. As always, fingers-crossed the freemium aspects are not too horrific (Gumi's "balancing" of the regular Brave Exvius gives me zero hope there), but lord knows I'm going to be screaming when I'm unable to draw Ramza and friends after several expensive pulls in the inevitable FFT crossover. Le sigh.

Square Enix - please give Matsuno a call and get a full-blown modern FFT, Tactics Ogre, and/or Ogre Battle on consoles going, or even Switch ports of War of the Lions and Let Us Cling Together 🙏🏼
