SINoALICE from Yoko Taro released a while ago in Japan with an international release being handled by Nexon. Nexon announced plans to localise the mobile game globally and then gave it a release date of July 18th. Today is July 16th and the official Facebook page for the game has a lengthy announcement about the game being delayed for localisation reasons.
The main reason for the delay was that the team found the localisation quality “not perfect". They discovered this during the final checks before the game was set to go live later this week. The developers then discussed what it would cost to delay the global release (outside Japan) to ensure the best quality localisation. They will also announce plans for rewards for the delay and a release window in the future.
SINoALICE is set to release globally in the near future. As of now, no release window has been announced. It did cross a million pre-registrations earlier this month. You can still pre-register for it here on the official website. Have you played the original Japanese release?
