A few months back, we wrote about the upcoming Tap Summoner, a frantic real-time tapping tower offense game with fun art and clever ideas, and pretty soon you might be able to check it out yourselves. The game will be soft-launching this week in Hong King, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Canada, which hopefully means the game is closer to releasing. If you haven’t read our earlier story about the game, you summon minions to take out your foes, but there’s more to this game than just frantic tapping; tapping the screen summons a minion, but holding your finger down for longer summons a stronger minion, which should make for some fun decisions on the fly.
The games comes with 15 Masters you can choose (each with their own abilities) and 45 unique minions. And, of course, you can unlock and upgrade your Summoners as you go along. So far, Tap Summoner looks like a fun take on the genre, so you might want to check it out. Go check out the game’s thread in our Upcoming Games forum, and if you don’t have an account in any of those countries, use our soft launch guide to make one.
