When Adult Swim Games launched Pocket Mortys (Free) at the beginning of the year, I figured it would be a cute Pokemon-alike dripping with Rick and Mortys fan service that would be a fun way to pass the time for a few weeks, and then it would fade away like dust in the wind. This was not the case. Pocket Mortys has been getting all sorts of updates since its launch, and after two rapid fire spring updates Adult Swim is ringing in the summertime with yet another big content update. Fans had been clamoring for new single-player content, and this update delivers that in the form of the new Morty Games, a series of 5 tournaments that will give you an opportunity to win exclusive Mortys not available anywhere else in the game.

Those exclusive Mortys aren’t the only new ones in this update though, as there’s 20 new Mortys in all and some of them can be found the old-fashioned way by catching them as they’re wandering around the various dimensions in the game. Adult Swim isn’t spilling the beans on who all the new Mortys are, but they do mention a few of them in the update notes, with Dog Bite Morty and Jerry Fan Morty being the two I’m most excited to encounter. The update notes also mention more updates are on the way, so be on the lookout for even more Pocket Mortys goodness as 2016 rolls on. Seriously, with all these updates this is probably the best zero dollars you can spend on the App Store.

Am I the only shmup fan which hates sky force reloaded? There's basically no challenge just upgrades. No patterns and insanely hard bossed.
It's entirely pattern-based. And I think the bosses are a lot easier than many R-Type/Darius/Thunder Force bosses. But I'm sure there are plenty of shmup fans who don't like Sky Force. Remember, the answer to the question of "Am I the only one who __?" is always "No."
Am I the only person in my department who's likely to be in the office this Friday at 16:30?
Hmm!
The answer is no. Sleep tight.
Nice quote!
I upgrade my plane to the max outside off the laser/shield/bombs upgrades than the bosses are easier to defeat btw on one level there was a wooden box that float in the air that I could take on tow but I lost it this happens when you move to fast, anyone knows what's in the wooden box?
I appreciate you clarifying the intangibles of the Most Spider-Mans of the Week award! Despite Avengers Academy being the only game I play on this list, I totally understand and support your reasoning - the Spider-Man-ness of an update is more about character than costume. 1000 points to you, sir.
Shark week just started last night. :). For me its like Christmas all over again :)
2K's claims to be fixing Bioshock iOS are just 3 days away from being unfulfilled for a WHOLE YEAR. Incompetent asshats? Or just cynical lip service to mitigate bad press while they release of XCOM 2, Battleborn, Mafia 3 and the latest incarnation of Civ?
Do you know this for sure I was already at a point to delete the game from my phone so it's great news.
p.s Is Xcom2 for pc and consoles only or mabey an iOS release.
I might not be being clear. There is NO reported outlook for a fix for Bioshock iOS from 2K.
2K has - on and off (most recently, January '16, via their support page) - been claiming to be working on a fix for Bioshock iOS.
However the complete lack of ANY patch, for what is now 3 days away from being a whole year, reasonably suggests that 2K are, in fact, either suffering a measure of incompetence or not being entirely truthful.
Wow this is really a golden week for iOS updates!
Bioshock has been broken one year now!
Strange I got the Sky Force Reloaded update on the 22juni how is this possible or are they releasing updates in different countries on different dates??
I know you mostly come here each week to vent about Bioshock, but read the second sentence of the article, please. ;)
Maybe iam a little naive but when a big company like 2K tells that they are working on the update than I believe them maybe I am dupeable because I really want to play this and hope they working on a version for the latest iPhones with better graphics.
I don't know... Maybe if more customers / citizens were a little more persistent things would get fixed... I've also never seen the point in keeping comments so sharply on task (not that that's necessarily your intent, and obviously incredibly hostile and otherwise inappropriate comments can be removed or unapproved (set to hidden with "click to view")), these comment sections are hardly the steam sale reddit page, and I'd think anything that promotes discussion even tangentially would be good, no?
Not to mention these types of comments tend to turn into popular "heard on our forums" articles...
specifically the farther and further above comment regarding a very merry unbirthday...
I'm more referring to the fact that he seems puzzled an update from five days before is included in the round-up when you need only read the first two sentences to know this is round-up of updates from the last seven days.
It's fine to come here and vent. I say that with the added proviso that 2K is absolutely not reading these comments, so you should be doing more than just venting here, but if it makes you feel good, go for it. But as a favor, at least try to humor me that you're reading the thing I spend five or six hours writing. Cool?
Sorry, some people either head straight to the comments or straight to the text about the game they care most about, or skim too quickly (it seems to be how many read on the internet, and I myself am guilty of this from time-to-time), and even sometimes ask questions previously answered in both the article and comment section.
.
.Probably painful for all sorts of creators who invariably get flak from people misinterpreting their work or looking to comment on a topic regarding, for ex. the sexism of Joss Whedon or criticism of his latest Marvel movie and must remove something from context to make their argument appear to stick (often for the purpose of article creation with a desired catchiness). Regarding this unfortunate series of events, I would just input that you are not alone.
.
.Lastly, I understand 2K may not read our comments but they seem (perhaps wrongly in my uninformed view) to respond to articles made on popular websites outside of their control and/or when large members of the fifth estate contact them. Corporations seem to respond only to damage control and do not often employ prophylactic management. At least, as I said (windbaggingly) so it would seem.
Final Fantasy Record Keeper was updated this past week. It lists 'bug fixes' in the update notes but goes much beyond that in actuality. Sphere system implemented on select heroes, new materials added that the sphere system uses.
