This week’s new ACA NeoGeo release from SNK and Hamster is the 1996-released fighting game Ragnagard ($3.99) which is out now on iOS and Android worldwide following 3 Count Bout, King of the Monsters 2, and more. I hadn’t even heard of this fighting game, which makes me even more happy that this series of releases from Hamster and SNK exists on consoles and mobile platforms. Ragnagard debuted in 1996 and is a fighting game that sees you taking control of characters based on gods and legends to gain the power of heaven. Ragnagard has an Element System for unique play styles that include Disaster Arts and Miracle arts in-game. I hope Shaun reviews this one so I know whether it is worth grabbing soon. A screenshot from the Android version of Ragnagard is below:
You can buy Ragnagard ACA NeoGeo on the App Store for iOS here and on Google Play for Android here. As with prior releases on mobile, this costs half of what it does on consoles at $3.99. If you aren’t sure if this one is for you, I’d recommend going with one of the games Shaun recommended in his best games list. If you’ve not played an SNK re-release from Hamster you can read Shaun’s article here covering the 10 best games in the series on mobile. Check out our new forum thread for today’s release here.
