Strategic roguelike deck-builder Monster Train ($7.99) from Shiny Shoe hit mobile last year through Good Shepherd Entertainment as a premium release. We featured it as our Game of the Week when it released. It launched at $9.99 and dropped to $7.99 in December last year. It has now dropped to $5.99. I don’t know if this is a permanent price drop or a limited time discount, but this is the lowest price Monster Train has been down to before on mobile. Since launch, the developers have updated it with a high frame rate mode, fixes for cloud saves, aspect ratio fixes for iPad, and also offline support for the DLC. It is good to see it not get seemingly abandoned on mobile like Slay the Spire. Watch the Monster Train iOS trailer below:
In addition to the base game which is available at $5.99 right now on iOS, The Last Divinity DLC is available an in app purchase priced at $3.99. Read about this paid DLC on the Steam page here. If you’d like to play it on iOS you can buy Monster Train on the App Store for $5.99 here. As of this writing, nothing has been revealed for Android, but it is also available on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC platforms in addition to iOS. Check out our forum thread for it here. Have you played Monster Train yet or will you be grabbing it on iOS with this price drop?
