Update: The Recently Released ‘Legend of Mana’ Remaster for PC and Consoles Is Out Now on iOS and Android

TouchArcade Rating:

Earlier this year, Square Enix released a gorgeous remaster of the PlayStation game Legend of Mana ($27.99) for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. Square Enix has been bringing back many classics to modern platforms, but it is never sure that a mobile version will happen. The two games I figured would be on mobile alongside PC and consoles have now both seen late mobile releases. The first being Trials of Mana. Read Shaun’s review of the iOS version here. The second one is today’s surprise release from Square Enix. The Legend of Mana remaster that released earlier this year has just launched on the App Store and Google Play in Japan and is rolling out now worldwide. This remaster includes a new world map system, new features, a mini-game that wasn’t released outside Japan before, and more. Watch the mobile trailer for Legend of Mana below:

As of now, this Legend of Mana remaster is available now in Japan on iOS and Android. It has now begun rolling out worldwide on iOS and Android. You can buy it (when it goes live) on the App Store here and Google Play for Android here. It is priced at $21.99 at a 20% discount until December 21st on Google Play. Check out the Japanese release here on the App Store for iOS and here on Google Play for Android. It is pretty crazy how many premium ports and releases Square Enix has brought out on iOS and Android just this year. Until Legend of Mana hopefully hits international storefronts on mobile later today, check out the official website for it here and the Steam page for it here for English screenshots. Have you played this Legend of Mana remaster on PS4, Switch, or PC yet?

Update: Added worldwide release details and price.
