Imagineer just announced an official companion app for the popular Nintendo Switch fitness game Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm and Exercise in the form of Fit Boxing Official App (Free) for iOS and Android. Fit Boxing Official App will let players link the Nintendo Switch game to mobile to view progress, calorie data, and more like distance walked. As of now, it is only a companion app but there are plans to add modes to let players experience Fitness Boxing 2 more using the iOS and Android app. The Fitness Boxing series from Imagineer has been published by Nintendo in the West and it has done quite well with both games nearly hitting 2 million sales worldwide so far. The official announcement for Fit Boxing Official App from Imagineer mentions availability for the app only in Japan. It is available seemingly worldwide to pre-order on the App Store, but as of now, there is no word on whether it will work with the international release published by Nintendo or not.
