Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi previously announced that Fantasian () part 2 is nearly done and while I expected it out in a few weeks, I didn’t think it was literally arriving this soon. The long-awaited update has finally gone live worldwide on Apple Arcade. Fantasian part 2 completes the story and adds a ton of new music, dioramas, and more with its quest-driven structure. According to Mistwalker, this part should take between 40 and 60 hours to complete for those who already finished the initial release on Apple Arcade. Fantasian Part 2 includes 50 new dioramas and 34 tracks of music from the soundtrack by Nobuo Uematsu. Watch the Fantasian Part 2 story and gameplay features trailers below:
If you haven’t gotten the game on Apple Arcade yet, you can get Fantasian here. If you’ve already played the first part and enjoyed the music as much as I did, you can listen to the soundtrack on Spotify here and iTunes here following its initial Apple Music release. This is the complete 58 track soundtrack which Nobuo Uematsu said might be his last full soundtrack.
