We’ve been covering the NieR spinoff game NieR Reincarnation (Free) from Square Enix ever since it was revealed over a year ago at the 10th anniversary livestream. NieR Reincarnation was announced for Japan initially but confirmed to get an international release soon after. Since the announcement, NieR Reincarnation has had new gameplay showcased ahead of its Japanese release but we hadn’t heard much relating to the English release. It was then confirmed that NieR Reincarnation is getting a full English dub. I speculated whether NieR Reincarnation would launch alongside NieR Replicant on consoles and PC but that didn’t happen. When pre-orders for NieR Reincarnation went live on the App Store, a November 6th date was listed. We noted that those dates are usually tentative and the official release date was just revealed today by Square Enix. Watch the new NieR Reincarnation English opening video below:
NieR Reincarnation launches on July 28th outside Japan on iOS and Android. This isn’t a full worldwide release (and confirmed for North America, Europe, and Korea for now) so if you get an error when clicking on the iTunes link to pre-order NieR Reincarnation, it isn’t launching in your region initially. If you’d like to check it out, you can pre-order NieR Reincarnation on the App Store for iOS here and on Google Play for Android here. NieR Reincarnation is free to play with in app purchases and pre-registration reward tiers include the in-game currency Gems. Have you tried NieR Reincarnation through its Japanese release or were you waiting for the global release?
