‘NieR Re[in]carnation’ Is Currently Being Localised and Dubbed for the English Release, Japanese Release Coming Next Week

NieR Re[in]carnation was revealed for Japan at the 10th anniversary NieR livestream and it was later confirmed for an English release on both iOS and Android. NieR Re[in]carnation is developed by Applibot and it features designs by CyDesignation and music by Keiichi Okabe (NieR) and it definitely looks like a NieR game. If you missed the first gameplay showcase for it, check it out here. Following the announcement of the English release, news has been scarce with the Japanse version getting new reveals and a confirmed release date. NieR Re[in]carnation launches on February 18th in Japan on iOS and Android and the English Twitter account for the game finally revealed that the English version of NieR Re[in]carnation is currently being localised and it will include an English dub through a letter from Daichi Matsukawa who is the Director of the game. Watch the NieR Re[in]carnation opening video for the Japanese release below:

The English version of NieR Re[in]carnation is also planned to include fixes following the Japanese release right from the start. I think they will try and line up this release with the console and PC new remaster of NieR Replicant that is due in April assuming it is feasible. As of now, pre-registration dates and a release date for NieR Re[in]carnation outside Japan aren’t confirmed. If you’d like to try out the Japanese version, pre-registrations are now live on Google Play for Android and on the official website. Pre-orders are available on the App Store for iOS here for Japan. Before the NieR Re[in]carnation release arrives, you can also check out SINoALICE and read my interview with Yoko Taro here. Are you going to try the Japanese version of NieR Re[in]carnation or are you waiting for the English release?
