Call of Duty: Mobile’s Zombies Mode Is Coming Back Later This Year

TouchArcade Rating:

Back in November 2019, Call of Duty: Mobile (Free) got an update adding controller support and Zombies mode. That update made a lot of players happy because controller support is always welcome and a lot of people enjoy Zombies mode. In March last year, Zombies mode was removed as it didn’t meet the level of quality the team desired. In a new community update on Reddit, Activision has confirmed that the Call of Duty: Mobile Zombies mode will return soon in the Chinese version of Call of Duty: Mobile and later in the year for the global version of Call of Duty: Mobile. Shi No Numa, the original Zombies map joins the Chinese version of Call of Duty: Mobile soon but the global version has something bigger planned. The developers are planning to release a new Zombies experience later in the year with more to be revealed closer to the launch. Watch the Call of Duty: Mobile Season 2 trailer below:

I’m curious to see how Zombies mode returns to Call of Duty: Mobile later in the year and whether it will tie into the 2021 Call of Duty game since that will likely release in October or November this year. Call of Duty: Mobile is currently in Season 2: Day of Reckoning with the featured event, Pursuit available now with new rewards.
