‘Just Cause Mobile’ Announced During The Game Awards, Coming to iOS and Android “Soon”

The Game Awards just wrapped up moments ago, and among its many world premieres and announcements for console and PC was some stuff relevant to us in the world of mobile. One such big announcement that just sort of came out of nowhere is a new Just Cause game for mobile, appropriately titled Just Cause Mobile. It is described as “an action-shooter set in the explosive Just Cause universe and designed exclusively for mobile" and will feature “[An] action-packed story campaign, 30 person competitive multiplayer, 4 player Co-Op missions" and more. You can see Just Cause Mobile in action in the following announcement trailer, and it looks pretty damn awesome.

The game’s website further describes that Just Cause Mobile will be “entirely free to play with four distinct game modes, high quality 3D graphics powered by Unreal Engine 4, responsive touch controls, unique movement system (parachute, wingsuit, grapple), voice chat and high action gameplay at your fingertips." I think it being free to play was a given seeing how well games like Call of Duty Mobile or PUBG Mobile have done and continue to do. One thing that wasn’t divulged just yet about Just Cause Mobile is when we can expect to see it release, other than “soon." However, the previously mentioned official website for the game has links to all the social media you can handle as well as a sign up for a newsletter so you can stay on top of things.
