Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition from Square Enix was originally supposed to release on January 23rd this year for iOS, Android, PS4, and Nintendo Switch but was delayed. The upcoming remaster of the classic Final Fantasy game finally arrives in August with full cross platform online play and progression. A little while ago, we learned that the game would have a small part playable for free on iOS and Android. Today, Square Enix has confirmed how the game will be monetised on iOS and Android in addition to revealing some new features. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition releases on August 27th for PS4, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android. On iOS and Android, the game will be available for free and this free version will include the same content as the newly revealed Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition Lite edition on consoles which is the first three dungeons of the game. Free or lite players will be able to play together and even join paid players for the full game through multiplayer. On iOS and Android, this free version can be upgraded to the full version through an in app purchase that unlocks all the full game content and story. Check out the English website here.
