Bethesda has been slowly updating the newly released updated versions of DOOM ($4.99) and DOOM II ($4.99) on the App Store and Google Play with various fixes and new features. The last major update added support for new add-ons, level select, and more features. Today, Bethesda have pushed out updates for DOOM and DOOM II on all platforms including mobile and Nintendo Switch with quality of life features, new add-on support, audio fixes, and more.
For audio fixes, DOOM and DOOM II will now be more accurate to the DOS release with adjusted audio levels and ranges. Consecutive audio will now be accurate with interruptions as well. You can now bind quick load and quick save to access them without pausing the game. The No End in Sight add-on with 30 new levels is now available as a free add-on once you link your Bethesda.net account. If you haven’t already, you can get DOOM and DOOM II on the App Store and Google Play right now. It is going to be interesting to see if Bethesda eventually does bring DOOM 3 to iOS and Android. Did you buy both games on iOS or any other platform through these new releases?
