Zynga just announced a new Harry Potter mobile game being made in partnership with Portkey Games and Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment. Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells is a match-3 puzzle game based on the Harry Potter franchise that will feature various moments from the movies and many characters. You create your own character here and get to experience the world of Harry Potter featuring new spells, potions, key characters from the movies, and more. The puzzles here will feature chocolate frogs and other Harry Potter objects as obstacles.

Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells will also have daily events with the ability to level up and unlock more customisation for the in-game characters. Zynga said that this will have a social element as well in the form of clubs to join and co-op events. Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells is set to launch worldwide on iOS, Android, and even Amazon Kindle. More details will be revealed in the future. It feels like we’ve had a lot of Harry Potter mobile games in recent times. It is going to be interesting to see how Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells does. What do you want in a Harry Potter puzzle game?

Another match 3 game, why
Possibly because Hogwarts Mystery is almost at its end. I've been playing that from launch and they are wrapping up Year Six. One more year and that entire play base will be done with that game. They're probably getting more new things out there to capture that interest.
I quit halfway through year 3. Does it get any better?
Better? Well... It's a lot of the same. I'm slogging through because I'm hoping for a story conclusion that makes sense. Hope it's over soon. Those 4-5 day challenges that come up get in the way of sleep if you want to get enough books to unlock all of the creatures in the reserve and not pay real money to get energy. Oh, and the Wizard Rock Paper Scissor Duels suck. I'm pretty sure you're not really challenging someone. Just a recording of someone's else's moves from a previous duel. Which means you can't make any predictions based on anything. It feels rigged. I try not to bother with them as much as possible.
