Dandara ($3.99) from developer Long Hat House and publisher Raw Fury is a very interesting game for me. I obviously love the gravity-defying Metroidvania platformer but the way the release was handled initially was excellent. It hit every platform including mobile at the same time and costed the same across the board. Recently, a big free update was announced for Dandara in the form of the Trials of Fear expansion. The expansion has just gone live for me on iOS and Xbox One. Once you update, the game will be called Dandara: Trials of Fear Edition. Dandara: Trials of Fear Edition is a free update to the original and is available now at a big discount for all existing owners. The game already dropped to just $5.99 and you can now buy it for only $1.99. The Dandara: Trials of Fear Edition includes the original content, The Hidden Realms, new music, a new secret ending, a big focus on story, and more. In terms of features, the update adds map rotation, assist modifiers, hard modifiers, and more.
