‘Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower’ from Perchang Is Bringing Turn Based Strategy Action to iOS and Android Later This Year

Perchang is getting ready to unleash a new Warhammer mobile game on iOS and Android later this year in the form of Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower. Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower is a turn based strategy game set in the Age of Sigmar. It has a massive campaign with daily quests and challenges. When it releases on iOS and Android, it will include 10 unique playable Champions. More will be added after launch as usual. I’m a sucker for a good turn based RPG on iPad and will definitely be checking this out. Watch the announcement trailer for it below:

Hopefully we get a good detailed look at the gameplay as we get closer to the final release. Alongside the campaign, Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower will also have a weekly trial that lets you try to earn some of the best items in the game. As of now, Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower is set to launch on iOS and Android later this year. We will post when it gets a more definite release date. Have you played Perchang’s other releases on iOS and Android like Warhammer Quest 2?

Warhammer Quest 1 was awesome. Then part 2 came out and I was really underwhelmed by how much of it felt like a Free to Play game.

Totally agree with you. Part 1 was complete, had many quests, many locations, many characters, spells, skill and items. But with Part 2, there was a flood of IAPs for every small things, the world was smaller, had less quests, less items and required A LOT of grinding... Even some mechanics were changed for no obvious reasons (and they were changed for the worse).

I actually enjoy Warhammer Quest 2 a bit more than Warhammer Quest. The game was simplified into a bite sized portion, and there were in app purchases, but there were in app purchases in part 1 too, and every bit as egregious.

I still play Warhammer Quest 2 from time to time. I enjoy wandering around the towns and shopping and taking on random quests.

The description makes it seem likely that the new iteration will make the leap fully into FTP. That will be a shame. Incidentally, for those who don't know, Part I has been unplayable for some time. Perchang's silence on this has been deafening. IOS gaming can be so very frustrating.
