A little while ago, Netmarble and Wizards of the Coast announced Magic: ManaStrike for iOS and Android. Magic: ManaStrike is a free to play PvP real-time strategy game featuring spells inspired by Magic: The Gathering’s cards and characters. The game is similar to Clash Royale but has a proper Magic: The Gathering flavour in full 3D. Players enter a contrtact with Nicol Bolas who is the most powerful villain from the universe. While it isn’t new for big name gaming brands to get mobile spinoff releases that are free to play, the lore of Magic: The Gathering and the artwork is a big draw for many people. If you’re interested in checking out Magic: ManaStrike, you can pre-register for it now on the official website. Doing so will net you Gold (the currency), Gems (premium currency), one player icon, and five emoji based on the Planeswalkers from Magic: The Gathering. As of now, Magic: ManaStrike doens’t have a confirmed release date but it will be out globally for iOS and Android in the future.
