Back in the spring of 2017, we took an early look at developer UglyRobot’s upcoming side-scrolling snowboarding game Stomped. Having previously released the excellent Pocket Motocross Adventure (aka PoketMoto) many years ago, UglyRobot had experience making great side-scrolling extreme sports games, and Stomped looked to amp up the volume in every way. They wanted to capture the joy of cruising through gorgeous environments as in the Alto’s Adventure games, but blend in a tricking and combo system that was more reminiscent of the old Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater games. We didn’t hear much more about Stomped until this past GDC in March when we learned that Noodlecake Studios would be publishing the title and we got a new hands-on demo of the game. Now we finally have a firm release date for Stomped and it’s extremely soon, this Wednesday in fact, and we’ve also got a brand new trailer.

It’s available for pre-order on the iOS App Store here and for pre-registration on the Google Play Store for Android here. It’ll set you back just $2.99 for either version and it’s a fully premium game with no ads and no IAP. I love games like this and I’m extremely stoked to get my hands on Stomped later this week.
