Ramageddon is a game we’ve had our eye on since we first learned about it about a month ago, and now we finally know when we can get our hands on the iOS version of the game. Backing things up, Ramageddon is a competitive multiplayer game for up to 4 people where your goal is to literally ram the other players off the sides of an arena. The longer you can run in a straight line, the more power you can build up into your ramming, and thus the farther your opponent will fly. This mechanic gives the game a neat strategy as obviously other players are gunning for you as well but the levels themselves are also full of obstacles, so simply running unabated isn’t as easy as it sounds. Here’s the most recent trailer for Ramageddon so you can get a sense of what the game is like.
So anyway, when we first posted about Ramageddon last month it was currently in open beta on Android, and about a week later the game officially launched in full on the Google Play Store. An iOS version had always been planned for some point after the Android launch, and according to the website of the game’s developer Nydium Games that iOS version will be coming on March 19th, just about a month from now. Ramageddon seems to have been pretty well-received on Android, so I’m definitely looking forward to checking out the iOS version when it arrives next month.
