Back in December Foursaken Media announced their next project called Game of Gods, a game where you would control a variety of hulking deities as you worked towards protecting Earth from “a dark and powerful force of Chaos." While your main goal is to protect Earth, the humans that inhabit it are another matter, and you have the choice of either playing the role of a good god and not making cannon fodder out of the humans around you or just not caring who you kill as you unleash your attacks against enemy forces. There is also a heavy emphasis on the different types of spells you can use in the game and how they interact with each other, creating depth and strategy. Actually playing Game of Gods though couldn’t be simpler, as it’s designed for one-handed portrait play and you’ll simply drag and drop the different spells onto the battlefield to use them. Foursaken has finally released an official trailer for the game so you can see what all of this is like in action.
Game of Gods will feature a single-player campaign as well as multiplayer that’ll see you teaming up with other players to battle back against large scale invasions. There will also be a ton of customization options for your gods including “clothes, armor, god gifts, mutations, and more." Finally, what would a god be without worshippers? You’ll actually be able to amass worshipers and earn rewards as your god’s follower count grows. It all sounds really awesome, and Game of Gods is on track for a March 21st release. However, Foursaken wants to get players in early to balance and smooth out any issues, so if you’re interested in testing then click this public Testflight link to get access to a beta build on iOS. You can provide feedback directly through Testflight or in the thread in our forums, and while Game of Gods will be a free to play game the beta version has all IAP removed so that the game can be balanced entirely without taking IAP into consideration. That’s how Foursaken do! If you don’t hop on the beta bandwagon then look for Game of Gods to launch next month on March 21st.
