We’re big fans of pretty much the entire library from Orange Pixel, and I can’t believe we’re closing in on a year since we originally showed you the first look at Gunslugs 3: Rogue Tactics. It’s the third entry in Orange Pixel’s delightfully chaotic run ‘n gun shooter series, and as its subtitle suggests, it’s kind of a departure from the extremely over the top mayhem of the first two games. Gunslugs: Rogue Tactics has a slower pace and a bigger emphasis on strategy, and even that almost year-old video of the game showed a lot of promise for the concept. Well this week Orange Pixel has put out a brand new video showing seven solid minutes of pure gameplay from the latest build of Gunslugs: Rogue Tactics, so settle in and give it a look.

Of course, if you follow Orange Pixel on Twitter or on their Youtube channel then you know that even though we haven’t talked about Gunslugs: Rogue Tactics in quite a while the developer himself has been keeping fans frequently updated on the game’s progress. Most videos are more of behind the scenes looks at the development process, which is really interesting if you’re into that side of things. But with this nice healthy gameplay trailer being posted I figured that those who only care about the game itself would like to see how things are looking. Originally planned for a 2018 release, Gunslugs: Rogue Tactics will likely slip into early 2019 as the final touches are put on everything, but it’s looking great and if you want to follow along be sure to keep tabs on the game’s thread in our forums.
