If you’re a Minecraft ($6.99) player, I’ve got some pretty big news for you. For the first time in the history of the game, players will get to vote which new mob will be added to the game. The developers have designed four new mobs, and during the Minecon Earth livestream on November 18th, players will get to pick one of those four to be added to the game. The three that won’t make the cut will be gone forever, never to be added to the game. We don’t have any details about these mobs outside the art on the video below, but they definitely look intriguing. Which one of the four looks the most interesting to you just based on the art?

Mojang will reveal more details about the mobs before Minecon Earth’s livestream, so you’ll be prepared by the time the voting commences. I want us to get more flying mobs to make the world more lively, but we’ll see what the options are. But it’s definitely a fun and smart idea.
