Just over a week ago, Raw Fury Games announced that their quirky kingdom simulation/survival game Kingdom: New Lands would be coming to iOS and Android on January 31st following its successful existence on Steam and Xbox One. Well, unfortunately Raw Fury announced today that the mobile versions of Kingdom: New Lands have been delayed, and the reason for that delay is shrouded in mystery! Their brief blog post says that the delay isn’t development related, which is good news, and that whatever this mystery reason is for the delay is “for something good." We have no idea what that means, but we will gladly accept their offer of a unicorn pooping coins to make up for this disappointing news.
The good part about all this? Well, the delay won’t be that long, and Raw Fury says the iOS and Android versions should be launching “later this winter." Since there’s less than two months left of winter, it likely won’t be too long before we’re able to play Kingdom: New Lands on our magical little pocket computers. If a more specific new release date is revealed we’ll let you know, and in the meantime you can check out more of Kingdom: New Lands in its most recent trailer or read up about our hands-on time with the game from GDC last year.
