Noodlecake Games Brings ‘realMyst’ to Android

While we usually hear a bunch from the fine folks at Noodlecake Games, purveyors of fine mobile games both original, published by them, and ported to Android. Well, they just dropped a release they’ve been keeping a secret from us: they’re bringing realMyst ($6.99) to Android at last. One of the most popular point-and-click adventure games of all time has been missing on Android in official form. This 3D take on Cyan Worlds’ classic has you exploring a mysterious island and trying to discover the secrets contained within, traveling across time to the different Myst Ages, including the bonus Rime Age.

While the original game befuddled and bedeviled players, there’s plenty of online information to help you out now, along with the realMyst Hint Guide contained in the app to help you out when you’re stumped. It’ll be interesting to see if Riven also comes to Android as well, with an iOS version available. A nice surprise release that they apparently had to keep secret, and a big step up for the fine folks at Noodlecake Games. You can check out realMyst on Google Play and Amazon Appstore right now.
