Assoluto Racing (Free) is one of the best racing games on the App Store right now, and the latest 1.1 update has added plenty of new features that should make the game even better. The update has added a new racetrack, time sections (which help see where on the track you need to improve), a dashboard camera (which is my favorite way to race) as well as improvements in the game’s physics with stronger grip at minimal steer angle and bump physics for the surfaces outside the track. There are also some UI changes and, of course, the usual bug fixes, the biggest being adjusting premium currency prices for tuning upgrades. Finally, the visuals have been improved, always a welcome addition even if the visuals already looked good.
If you haven’t played the game yet and you’ve been looking for a good racing game, I suggest you give Assoluto Racing a try; the game offers plenty of officially licensed cards, good physics, and overall a fun driving experience. The developers are also hoping to add more racer-to-racer interaction in the future with competitions and challenges. The update is live, so go check out the new features and go compete with our forum players.
