A week ago we broke the news that Final Fantasy Brave Exvius was likely headed towards a release outside of Japan, and Square Enix was prepping a pre-registration event for the launch. However, it appeared to be a bit too soon as the pre-registration page wasn’t up at that time. Then just last Thursday we also broke the news that the game had soft-launched in Sweden, so those looking to check out the game early could do so provided they had an iTunes account in that region. Well, today Square Enix officially sent over press materials for Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, meaning the pre-registration page is finally officially working and the game has a new trailer.
In case you’ve missed any of the previous coverage, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is developed by Gumi Inc, and can pretty much be described as a Final Fantasy re-skin of their mega-hit Brave Frontier (Free). If you are a Brave Frontier fan, a Final Fantasy fan, and a fan of free to play mobile games, then Brave Exvius should be right up your alley. If you’re hoping for a full-fledged, brand new, premium Final Fantasy experience on your mobile device, well, you’ll likely just want to skip this one and stick to Square Enix’s many excellent ports. We’ll be checking out Final Fantasy Brave Exvius in just a couple of weeks as it will be playable at Square Enix’s E3 booth, and you can expect the full launch of the game sometime this summer.
