I feel like it’s been too long since Nitrome released a game. I mean, they’ve been pumping out the Rust Bucket (Free) updates and I love them for it, but it’s been a while since they released a brand new title. The good news is that you won’t have to wait much longer, as Leap Day from the studio releases soon. And what’s cool is that you’re going to get new content in the game literally every single day, as each date brings a new level to play.
Leap Day looks like another fun high score chaser full of pixel art from the studio that is perhaps the pinnacle of pixel art on mobile. You’ll be wall-jumping, bouncing on springs, and avoiding all sorts of wacky hazards in an attempt to leap as high as possible. And with a new daily level, there’s reason to come back again and again. This one releases on May 11th. And will get new content on the 12th, and the 13th, and so on. Unfortunately, it missed the actual leap day, so you’ll have to wait until 2020 to play Leap Day on leap day.
