After unveiling three new cards earlier today, Supercell just revealed Clash Royale‘s (Free) next 3 Legendaries – Sparky, Lava Hound, and Miner – and they look fun (though I’ll probably never get to play them). Let’s start with the Miner, the silliest of the bunch. This goofy-faced troop starts at 1000 HP and hits for 160 damage at level one, but the cool thing about it is that it can burrow its way underground and pop up anywhere in the arena; in a way, it’s a reverse Goblin Barrel. The Miner targets only ground units and does 133 damage per second. Sparky has 1200 HP, hits for an amazing 1300 area damage but has a hit speed of 5 seconds, so it will need a lot of protection. On the other hand, the flying Lava Hound has 2900 HP but only does 26 damage per second and targets only buildings.
So, as you can see, these three are pretty interesting cards, but they are Legendaries so definitely not for the average player. You can see the units in the video above, and you can see how easy it is to use the Miner to take out any unit anywhere in the field. Sparky smashes a Tower in two hits, but it’s pretty slow, so you need to protect it appropriately. And the Lava Hound will soak up a lot of damage and then spawn those little pups to continue messing with your opponent. What do you think of these Legendaries? Good, bad, OP?
