It’s always nice when a game gets an update that you just did not expect. You would be forgiven for thinking Icycle: On Thin Ice ($2.99) was otherwise lost to history after its release in 2013, but no! The game has suddenly gotten a big 2.0 update that adds new content to complete the game, over 2 years since its original release.
The new “Bright Side" content includes 7 new levels taking place on the so-called bright side of the apocalypse, which should test you even further to survive the icy levels. And there may be a Pink Floyd reference in there, too. Plus, Dennis’ Scrapbook of Dreams gets 3 new levels, and you can now share replays. This certainly is a surprise for this update to come out well after the game’s prime, and I’m going to have to play it again to see how well it holds up.

Hopefully this drops 50% in price next week with the yearly Square Enix holiday sales on iOS!
Now, all we need is Monster Hunter and we're back in business.
And BIOSHOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Same thing!? [insert shruggie, please!]
I want Bioshock to work dammit! Now that I have a 6s I can actually play it without it looking like crapola, but of course it doesn't work and it's gone from the purchase history...just my luck
It should be in your history again, it's back in mine. But I think it's still broken
Now if they can just drop the split-app HD bullshit and make it universal...
Agreed, though id feel bad because i bought it on both platforms, this game is just too good, lol
Hope they'll update Chrono Trigger with all cinematic cutscenes now !
With all this issues of TWEWY and iOS updates I was glad to find the original DS version to play on my 3DS. No worries about compatibility now.
Update mutant mudds and the halo games too dammit!!!
Are you saying that the Halo games are shot down because the latest iOS update to? I got both of them+Bioshock on my phone so now I have 3 top games that are doing zero.
Are the iOS updates the problem that f****p some games maybe it becomes time that this problem is fixed, there are other platforms that doesn't have this problem.
Actually Android has the same problem, I own The World Ends With You on my Nexus 5 and ever since Android 6 Marshmallow dropped, the game has been broken with no news of a fix, it took them the best part of a year to patch it so it ran in Android 5 and in 2 months it broke again. The reason why this isn't a huge problem on Android is because most Android phones run old versions of Android and some devices never get OS updates but anyone with a Nexus has the same problems as ios users, things break!
The good thing is I also have an iPhone 6 and ive been playing it on that for a few months now
Every platform has some software that breaks with any update. And also has software that still runs years later with no changes. iOS is in the same boat. If you change an OS (which has to happen) then that will ALWAYS affect apps running on the OS.
I've found it to be rare on iOS, happily. And it may be the developer doing something Apple hasn't recommended against. We don't know from the outside.
Thanks for your info.
2K has recently dissolved 2K China who was responsible for bringing BioShock to iOS, so chances are slim to none.
WTF ... BIOSHOCK
I love TWEWY, and as soon as I got it, it broke. Glad to see both fixes. If it breaks again, I'll simply wait again. It is that much worth it.
