Gamevil and developer Digital Legends Entertainment have just taken their online shooter Afterpulse (Free) and brought it out worldwide. The game was soft launched in Australia back in August, so you didn’t have to wait too long to start blasting other folks in this online PvP shooter.
Digital Legends Entertainment is the developer of Respawnables (Free), another particularly popular online shooter in the land of iOS, so this has some appeal as the next big game from them. Plus, this boasts two features you want to see from an iOS shooter: Metal visuals and MFi controller support. It still strikes me as a little odd that Gamevil’s publishing this one, but to be a major international publisher, you have to diversify your portfolio, eh? Monster Strike (Free) pulls down a ton of money in Japan but has no real traction in the west, for example. So a publisher making military shooters for the west and social RPGs for the east isn’t a terrible idea in the path to world domination.
