‘Skullduggery’ Heads to the App Store on October 9th

ClutchPlay Games’ Skullduggery is heading to the App Store next Thursday, October 9th. Get it, ‘heading’, because it’s a game where you control a skull? The game is a bit more promising than that pun is. It’s a physics platformer where you launch a skull around using Angry Birds-style controls, fighting enemies – who are other skeletons, mostly – or trying to avoid them in order to avoid not dying. Or, as much death as can come to a self-propelled skull, I suppose.

The game features a variety of situations to get involved in, from platforming challenges, to tricky timing-based scenarios where there’s thin margins for error. Oh, and there’s the occasional giant boss to fight. As well, there’s local multiplayer, appropriately referred to as head-to-head multiplayer, because, again, skulls. ClutchPlay is getting this one out in time for Halloween, because I hear the kids like them skulls this time of year.

Skullduggery

Skullduggery was one of the PAX 10 selections back at PAX Prime, and their previous game Little Chomp ($1.99) was rated 4.5 stars by our reviewer, so this may just be worth keeping a heads-up on, and I’m so sorry for all the puns.
