Disney released Star Wars: Assault Team (Free), a new card battler that was originally announced earlier this year and that mustn’t be confused with Konami’s not so great Star Wars Force Collection (Free). Assault Team features Player vs Player combat, an original story set between episode IV and V and a ton of cards to collect. Here’s the launch trailer for it:
As a huge Star Wars fan I’ll be checking it out but I’m not expecting to be blow away. I’m also wary of the freemium aspects of the game that ruined Konami’s attempt. Furthermore, there is a huge contender for best card game ever that is coming out soon and even if it’s not set in the same universe, it’s going to be a tough market for Assault Team. Awesome new TD game added! This and BH 1 are in my top 5 all time games for sure.
That said, wth is up with level 8 in TD? I just can't crack that code. The garden beetles weapons do nothing to those medicine bugs!
Also while I am complaining, the auto aim feature is very jarring to the senses, flipping your view around way too much. It should just auto aim like the shoulder turret thing or like the Ant did in BH1. Also without auto aim, the sights are hard to see and it's very hard to aim manually.
And my last complaint... The notices that flash across the screen with the two big stars, what for so big?! I have to pause the game every time until they fade away.
