And we’re back this week with even more iOS game streaming. I wish Flappy Bird would go away, but it doesn’t show any sign of stopping- Especially now that Super Ball Juggling and Shuriken Block are similarly glued to the top ten. Anyway, if you haven’t yet, please follow us as it’s the best way to get notified when we’re streaming.
To tune into the TA Plays Live stream you’ve got three options:
- The easiest is to just scroll down to see the embedded video stream and chat below. Make sure to turn the volume slider up if you want to hear game audio and commentary.
- Visit the TouchArcade channel on Twitch directly and watch over there.
- Download the Twitch.TV app (Free) and either hit this link on your device or simply search for the channel TouchArcade.
I usually stream until around 7:00 Eastern, at which point I toss the videos up on YouTube for everyone to see that missed the stream. Feel free to request games in chat, just do me a solid- Try not to be too pushy, as someone badgering me to play a certain game kills the flow of the chat, and if you’re a developer please say so if you’re requesting I play your own game.
Update: Offline! Wow, that was an awesome stream. Here’s the video, which is in the process of uploading and processing to YouTube. It’ll probably be a while:
Here’s the games we played:

Cant wait to get back into this!
Sounds like a good enough reason to get back into this. The only issue I had with the original was that the progression was really done once you got your 10,000,000.
I know. Although it was nice to have a puzzle/runner game that had a definitive goal where you could actually "win" instead of it just going on forever until you got bored.
Now I can finally enjoy it full-screen! :D
Absolutely killer game, but as it was pointed out, it's got zero replay value once you reach 10,000,000. Still, If I didn't had my hands full with the amazing Threes, I'd give it a new try.
What's funny is that I reinstalled this the other day on a whim. Then all of a sudden there was a deluge of news about it.
I must be subconsciously controlling the universe, that's the only logical explanation.
Actually there's this, like, lattice of coincidence that lies on top of everything. Suppose you're thinking about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say "plate", or "shrimp", or "plate of shrimp" out of the blue, no explanation. No point in looking for one, either... It's all part of the cosmic unconciousness.
The far simpler explanation is that I'm a God ;-)
Can someone explain the ace levels? What did they actually add, all I see is a number in the settings menu with no in-game explanation.
Ace Level is sort of like a New Game+. Once you've beaten the game, if you reset the progress to do it all over again, your Ace Level will go up by one and the next run through the game will be more difficult. You can keep doing this and upping your Ace Level, and it will be one of the things that gets imported in his new game You Must Build a Boat. (This is all according to info Luca sent me in an email.)
So, it's like a reason to play through the game over and over, something the previous version was lacking. Pretty cool.
It's a shame I deleted the game; so there goes at least one ace level wasted lol
Thanks for the reply Jared, it wasn't explained in game and I kept looking for a new option but never would've thought to reset.
Nice! Redownloading now. Time for my third play-through!
I won't install it again, because i was very disappointed when i bought it. It's so stressy. 😱
awesome! been waiting for the achievements to start playing it!!!
I am baffled about how anyone aye this on PC with mouse and keyboard- great swipe mechanics on touchscreen!
Oh autocorrect .. "Aye" = "plays"
i found the time pressure thing to be annoying as frack, couldn't stand the game for long.
gods forbid we get the option to turn that crap off and get to enjoy the game our own way.
O_O
Picked this up and loving it!
Sweet, reinstalling this now.
