TA Plays Rewind: ‘Bean’s Quest’ – A Fantastic Platformer, Now Loaded With Content

069244_largerWhen Bean’s Quest ($2.99) first launched in mid-2011, it was very weird to review, as the game could seriously be beaten in five minutes. It had a rock solid concept, but almost no content. You quickly beat the game and got a “Coming Soon!" screen. Well, developer Kumobius came through in a massive way as the game is now loaded to the brim with levels to power through.

With Time Surfer ($0.99) currently on sale for free, it seems relevant to roll the clocks back to the days of Bean’s Quest. Jared and I play through the first world, or, what used to be in the original release of the game:

Seriously, download Bean’s Quest. The constantly-jumping mechanic allows for cool level-based achievements, the controls are great, and it’s just all-around a super-fun game. I cannot wait for its sequel.
