Holy wow! We first told you about the Sworcery A/V Jam a little over a week ago, but if you somehow missed it it’s a special event to encourage artists of all walks to create a piece or pieces inspired by Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP ($3.99) and submit them for the world to see at the Sworcery Tumblr page. We checked in on the jam late last week because some really great entries had been posted, but the official date of the jam took place over this past weekend. I don’t think anybody expected such a strong turnout with so many high quality offerings. I mean really, that Tumblr page just keeps going, and going, and going, and going.
So, with that huge influx of new media, we figured we’d highlight a small selection of some of them again for our particular audience to see. However, this is such a small fraction of what’s available as it would be impossible to post everything that caught my eye. I’ve gone ahead and crammed as many thumbnails into this post as I can, but make sure to check out the actual Sworcery Tumblr page to see full-size versions and catch up on all of the rest of the entries. There is some simply jaw-dropping pieces on display.

I just cannot stress enough just how many more amazing entries are over at the Sworcery Tumblr, not to mention a ton of fantastic music submissions. The official window for entry closed at midnight last night, but don’t let a silly thing like a deadline get in the way of your creativity. If you’d still like to participate in this Sworcery A/V Jam, you can still send in your entries following the instructions here. However, it’s going to take a lot longer for the powers that be to go through any additional submissions and I wouldn’t expect them to be up on the Tumblr anytime before June or possibly even later.
