Direct trains around the network - above ground and underground - through tunnels and crossings; controlling the junction points, keeping an eye on the weather and stopping at station platforms to pick up passengers. Make sure they're not waiting too long...

Play through multiple networks and difficulties, finding optimal ways around the railway without causing a derailment or collision or allowing the platforms to overflow.

Choose a graphical theme that suits, including a mock Centralised Train Control as used by train controllers.
