iWords - Word Treasure Hunting

Details

iWords is an original word treasure hunting game conceived and developed for the iPhone and iPod touch.

Words are hidden inside 16 soil blocks of letters. Get them out by composing words. New letters will replace the used ones. The game stops when no more possible words can be composed. The Official Tournament and Club Word list (TWL) is the reference base.

Mr. Weather will draw a lucky weather every round. If you are lucky, "Weather Power" will be granted. A Weather Power can be Sunshine, Breeze and Shower.

- Sunshine will renew all letters.
- Breeze will renew some letters.
- Shower will interchange vowels and consonants.

Sometimes hints and erasers will show up. Get them collected! They will come in handy! Watch out for thunder as well. It will trigger an explosion and you can capture the surrounding letters. Remember, your pocket can only keep a maximum of 9 power-ups of each type.

A blue or green block scores 10, yellow 20, orange 40, and red 80. A long word will gain you a “bonus letter”. Bonus letter will multiply your score tremendously.
