Details

Castles is the last stand of civilization against barbarism. Hundreds of barbarians are charging towards your castle. A few barricades, a wall, and a small band of heroes must hold the barbarians back.

Castles is a turn-based strategy wargame of limited reinforcements shoring up collapsing defenses, and using the enemy's aggression to keep them away from your castle.

Knights are fast strike units: moving up to the front line quickly, killing many Barbarians before dying. Pikemen are cheap defenders. Archers attack from a distance.

Castles Lite is a free version of Castles, with only the Easy difficulty level. Try it out, and when you want a REAL challenge, buy Castles!
