What’s the next thing on Ravenous Games‘ plate? Spoiler: it’s not another League of Evil. Allow us to introduce you to Burger Cat, a side-scrolling 2D puzzle / platform game that’ll revolve around an unnamed cat and his epic quest to find “his delicious destination." Ravenous says the title, which is nearly done and should launch as a Universal app some point this April, features 60 levels and several different kinds of puzzles: tools such as decoys, springs, and even umbrellas will see you through.
We’ve included the images in this post that Ravenous dropped on our message board, but you might want to swing by that thread anyway. The studio is asking our community to help it name the cat, and you’re more than welcome to throw a suggestion its way. We’ve been screaming “Dr. Meow Meow" at our screens for the last hour. It might not make sense, but c’mon.

This game was obviously conceived to capitalize on Jared's Kitty Corner. Editorial favoritism, I say!
Scrumps! Name it Scrumps!
Whiskas !
I like Scrumps. But what about Dr. Scrumps?
I can't wait!
I might check out Gnu and Rinth, but for the most part, this week is a dud.
I think that maybe you missed Ow My Balls! XL is coming to the iPad.
You can just drop the iPad on your balls.
I don't have an iPad yet. One day...
Is Cubemen still coming out?
Yeah it`s already out. I don`t know why Eli hadn`t listed it too :(
I am so glad that Touch Arcade still requires flash. Ok, just a sec let me load this page in Chrome.
Huh? I only use my iPad and I don't have a problem....
That Rinth Island looks pretty interesting...
I agree. I snagged it and am enjoying it. The controls could be a bit better, but graphically it's great and I can say this is going to be a favorite of mine. I just hope it doesn't get too hard too quickly.
(IMO) Ow my Balls = Pass with a capital P, boldfaced and underlined.. Some of the others look interesting, including the Geometry Wars-like title.
You shouldn't write it off so quickly. We had five people last night passing the game around with it streaming to the Apple TV. Incredible time.
Guess I'm not into the puppet/physics thing lately, and I realize it's a 'don't judge a book by its cover' situation. Maybe it's just the name that skewed my feeling about this, as it kind of sounds like many of those disposable apps. I trust your opinion, though.
Ah the roots of App Store success. A fart app was the first top selling app for weeks when the iPhone launched.
Sigh. I agree. But at the same time I can get my 7 year old twins laughing till it hurts with a good fart app.
Sure, they're cheap and stupid, but the look on my girls' faces when I hit a rip roaring fart? You have to be a parent to understand :)
I bet your party's are wild.
Rinth Island and Violet Storm look decent. Will give OMB XL a download for the heck of it. Didn't like the iPhone/iPod version at all though. Overall, it's a very weak release week.
back2this
Watching the Street Bike video made me really want an iOS version (port, remake, what have you) of Road Rash.
Nothing really good this week, i hope next one is full of cool releases for vacation...
I don`t know what your preferred Genre is but you should try out Spin Up if you haven`t yet had this Week a Game that did fit your Taste.
Meh..
Can I just say, what stands out to me the most out of this post is Brad. Seriously, I want to look like more like that guy. Teach me your ways, oh awesome one!
