We got a early look at Butterscotch Shenanigans' next game, Levelhead, back at GDC, but as of this morning they're going Facebook Official. The official blog post on the game has loads of additional screenshots and a few details on how a few of the power-ups in game work. Take a look at the new teaser trailer:

Like Crashlands [$6.99], Levelhead is going to be totally cross platform with all their online stuff getting tied together with the BScotch ID system. If this all sounds remotely interesting to you, there's a few things you can do to help the BScotch guys out when it comes to the launch of the game: Wishlist it on Steam, subscribe to the newsletter, and do other things like tell your friends and follow them on Twitter. Launching a game is tricky these days, particularly for a four man studio, so they can use all the help they can get.

Reminds me of Super Mario Maker! Looks awesome by the way.

If this is a premium game I’m there on launch day. If it’s IAP... wow, so disappointed I’ll never get to try it.

      It'll be premium. NEVER FEAR!

I really don't like platformers and haven't since the early 90's, with the exception of shadow complex a few years back. Still, as BSS are just the most amazing developer ever, I'll probably buy it anyway to show support, and hope their next game is more akin to Crashlands.

I love platformers, but i am not into building levels. I hope there is a challenging campaign with many levels and i can play the heck out it as i did with crashlands. Hope they can change my mind about creating levels.

I'm the same way - used to love level editors when I was younger but now I don't have much time/patience, especially if I have to do stuff to unlock certain building blocks. Hope there's an easy way to see the best / most popular levels that other folks have made!

This looks ace. I also hope for an epic campaign mode.
