‘Sky Gamblers: Races’ Will Bring WWII Plane Racing to iOS on May 11th

The Sky Gamblers series from Atypical Games has long been a great source of virtual dogfighting on mobile devices, with high-end visuals and realistic lineups of planes to fly. Now Atypical is teaming up with Romanian indie developer Edon Games to bring out a racing-focused game in the Sky Gamblers series, appropriately titled Sky Gamblers: Races. The game will feature more than 20 WWII-era planes to fly, all with multiple variants and skins to provide more than 90 different combinations. There are more than 100 different race types that take place across multiple environments and race tracks in both a single-player tournament campaign as well as online multiplayer. Check out the impressive debut trailer for the game.

Game modes include Normal, Slow Down, Elimination, Timed Races and Death Races, and if you’re not into playing with real people online you can actually play against AI bots instead. If you DO like playing against real people though, Sky Gamblers: Races will feature cross-platform multiplayer between the iOS, tvOS, and macOS versions. Other features include iCloud, Game Center, Replay Kit, AirPlay, and MFi controller support. It sounds pretty awesome so look for Sky Gamblers: Races when it arrives next Thursday, May 11th.
