I find it appropriate that Rome: Total War [$6.99 (HD)] is at its lowest price just in time for Easter. After all, the Romans did have quite a bit to do with the origin of this religious holiday, so it's only fair. The game is usually at $9.99, but now you can grab it for $6.99, which is an absolute steal for a game as big and as ambitious as Rome: Total War. The game has been expertly ported to tablets and works pretty much like a charm on your touchscreen. The controls are good, the visuals are great, and in general, you have no excuse not having this game on your tablet if you're a strategy game fan.

Well, okay, there is one excuse: the game will only play on iPad Air or newer, iPad mini 2 or newer, and on any iPad Pro. If you're planning on grabbing the game while it's on sale, go to our forum thread because there's a ton of tips and tricks from other players.

One of the best games I have on iOS! Really recommend.

This isn't the one that was recently released right? Seems the same to me.

The last one release was an expansion pack to this one on PC. They released it as a separate game on iOS. There the same game just in different eras. The last one has some new mechanics for playing barbarian tribes.

Reminds me of a little game called Myth.
