Minecraft: Pocket Edition ($6.99) continues its quest for feature parity with update 1.0.5, which brings more commands to the game, Command blocks, and Minecarts with command blocks. And, for more fun, it has added a Mighty Morphin Power Rangers skin pack to the game store, just so you can live out your fantasies. Command blocks are, well, blocks that can execute commands. You use redstone power to activate them, and they are usually used by map creators to, for instance, give items to players without the players being able to use that command themselves. Expect to see some pretty fun shenanigans in Realms maps now that Command blocks are a thing.
We are also getting new commands like /clear, /difficulty, /effect, /stopsound, and many more that should help Realms owners better control their maps. The Apple TV version of the game is finally getting Xbox Live and Realms support, which is great news for those who “splurged" and got that version. There are also some bug fixes and tweaks, which you can read here. Overall, another solid update that should be quite fun to play with.
